Burton Land & Cattle Co. is owned and operated by Brandon and Kimberly Burton.  Brandon is a fourth-generation farmer and grew up farming near Randlett, Oklahoma.  He graduated from Big Pasture High School located in Randlett.  He obtained his bachelors and masters degree in Animal Science from Oklahoma State University and then his juris doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law.  Brandon now owns and operates Burton Law Group, P.C. practicing law state-wide with offices in Oklahoma City and Tulsa.

Kimberly Burton grew up farming near Stillwater, Oklahoma and graduated from Morrison High School.  She later obtained her bachelors degree in Business from Oklahoma State University.  Kimberly and Brandon met while attending Oklahoma State University and were married in 1994 thereafter making their home in Edmond, Oklahoma where they raised three children, Braxton, Courtlyn, and Bo.

In 2002, Brandon formed Burton Land & Cattle Co. and purchased 800 acres Northeast of Randlett, Oklahoma which would become known as the Deep Red Ranch.  He later acquired 565 contiguous acres.  The ranch's primary focus is raising wheat and cattle.  The ranch sits along  both sides of the Deep Red Creek and contains 250 acres of cultivation.  The main focus of the operation is cattle including managing a commercial cow herd and back-grounding stockers on wheat pasture.  Burton Land & Cattle Co. also leases and manages multiple other farms throughout Cotton and Tillman counties in conjunction with Brandon's parents, Kenneth and Judy Burton, who live near Devol, Oklahoma and own and operate KJ Burton Farms, LLC.

The ranch abounds with white tail deer, wild hogs, turkey, quail, dove, ducks, geese, bobcat, coyotes and rattlesnakes.  The Deep Red Ranch is a unique property and has some of the most diverse terrain in Southern Oklahoma.  You will find plains bluestem pastures, bermuda grass, tall rocky bluffs, mesquite trees, hardwood timber, creek bottoms, pecan orchards, and open wheat fields on the ranch.
